WE HEARD

At first, this was about introducing a new kind of shoe. But very quickly, it became clear that this brand wasn’t just about shoes. It was about a way of walking through childhood, in a natural, healthy, and joyful way. And when competition emerged, we didn’t panic. We listened. We leaned into what made them different: two mums, walking the walk, walking other mums' shoes, and helping others do the same.

WHAT WE MADE

A brand with roots and room to grow: From the beginning, GoBarefoot had a growth strategy, where, just like the little feet of their customers, they could pivot and grow healthily, evolving into greatness.

Voice with purpose: We crafted a tone that's knowledgeable, friendly, and deeply supportive, allowing the brand to guide, not preach. Every interaction started with walking alongside parents, not ahead of them.

Visual identity with personality: A bright and dynamic colour palette with a custom handwritten typeface to make sure it looked like something a kid would love, and a parent would trust.

A shift in positioning: From selling shoes to empowering natural movement. GoBarefoot became a lifestyle brand focused on healthy foot development, grounded (literally) in purpose.

Content with consistency: On Instagram, through packaging, and in their growing newsletter, we built a story that followed their journey: from curiosity to confidence to community.

Founders front and centre: We encouraged the mums behind the brand to step forward. Their honesty, beautiful energy, bubbly personalities, warmth, and genuine passion became the most powerful voice and brand assets of all.
