THEY SAID
We want to create the first non-meat marketplace app in the UAE. Something practical, yes — but something that stands out from all the green, too. A brand that makes plant-based eating feel fresh, human, and connected.
WE HEARD
They werebuilding a way of living, not just an app. Something for flexitarians, vegetarians, vegans, and anyone curious enough to explore. It had to feel inviting, positive, and clear. A place where coexistence was the experience, and everything could be found in one place.
WHAT WE MADE
A brand rooted in unity: The logo started it all. A single-line Y that sprouts into a plant. It became the visual foundation, being simple, symbolic, and honest. Every icon and every illustration followed the same one-line style, like the brand’s belief in connection.
A colour system that stood out: The app categories each had their own bold colour (red for restaurants, yellow for bakeries, purple for supermarkets, blue for game changers). No more endless and just plain green. It brought energy, clarity, and personality to every section.
An app design shaped by people: Over 1,000 icons were designed to guide users seamlessly. All followed the one-line principle, reinforcing the brand’s visual DNA while making every tap feel natural and intuitive.
A brand you could see on the streets: From delivery bags to branded electric bikes, masks, and business cards, every physical asset reflected the same vibrancy and clarity, carrying the brand beyond screens and into the real world.
A story that made sense online: We built visual patterns for merchandising and social, and laid the foundations for content strategy and market expansion. Yalla Veggie became a movement people wanted to be part of and felt connected through.
